TRAVEL
FLIGHTS
There are two airports located in the Steamboat area:
For commercial flights, Yampa Valley Regional Airport (Airport Code: HDN) is located approximately 30 minutes outside of downtown Steamboat Springs.
For private flights, Bob Adams Airport (Airport Code: SBS) is located approximately 2.5 miles from downtown Steamboat Springs.
GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Our preferred partner for ground transportation to and from the Hayden airport is Ski Town Transportation. They provide door to door shared ride service and private executive service, serving all flights year-round. Advance reservations are strongly encouraged. Reservations can be made via phone at (970) 846-6570 or online at www.skitowntransportation.com.
Another recommended shuttle transportation service is Storm Mountain Express. Reservations can be made via phone at (970) 879-1963 or online at www.stormmountainexpress.com.
The main rental car companies are also located at the Yampa Valley Regional Airport (Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz) should you wish to rent a car.
Uber and Lyft are available but limited and not always reliable.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Looking for a place to rest your head after a day in the snow? We've got you covered.
We have arranged a room block at the Steamboat Grand Hotel, which is located at the base of Steamboat mountain and across the street from the Steamboat Powdercats office. You may book (based on availability) by clicking the button below or by contacting events@pathstone.com.
There are other alternative accommodations available should you require something a little larger or nicer. Our recommendation is to contact Moving Mountains, who provide a concierge experience with high end accommodation and transportation support for their guests. In particular, One Steamboat Place is one of our favorite alternative spots to the Steamboat Grand. For more information, visit www.movingmountains.com.
